Discover Michal Litman Jewelry

My name is Michal Litman.

Jewelry designer and metalsmith, based in Mitzpe Ramon.

My work focuses on jewelry as a process of material exploration through direct

contact and hands-on work with metal. I do not approach metal only as a

precious material, but as a space for experimentation, discovery, and response

through making.

My work exists in the tension between rough and refined, raw and polished.

Surfaces shift between polished areas and more

“imperfect”

zones-burned,

broken, or textured-creating a dialogue that holds the work together. Much of

my inspiration comes from natural textures, especially those found in the desert

and open landscapes, where time and material leave visible traces.

I work with techniques such as sand casting and wax carving, which allow

uncertainty, deviation, and “imperfections

” to become part of the language of

the work. The final pieces emerge through a process in which the material

responds to action-pressure, heat, and mistakes-preserving their traces.
