ABOUT ME
My name is Michal Litman.
Living and creating in Mitzpe Ramon.
My work is born from listening to the metal.
For me, silver is more than just a raw material; it is an active space for exploration.
My deepest inspiration comes from the desert where I live-the vast landscapes and natural textures where time and matter leave distinct marks.
In my jewelry, there is a constant dialogue between the rugged and the refined: polished surfaces alongside raw, scorched, or coarse areas that create tension and balance.
Using traditional techniques such as sand casting and wax carving, I let the material lead.
Heat, pressure, and even the uncertainty or "mistakes" of the process are given their place.
I don’t try to hide them, I let them become part of the final piece.
Each piece is meticulously handcrafted from 925 sterling silver, moving between careful planning and the spontaneous moments of creation-until the balance feels exactly right.
